Susanne Miklas is a photo editor based in New York City. With a curious nature and discerning eye for visual storytelling, she is fortunate to have built a career that suits her strengths and rewards her passions.

Susanne works with a wide variety of artists—from young emerging talent, to some of the most respected photographers in the world. She has conceptualized, produced, assigned, edited and researched photography on subject matter ranging from celebrities, CEO’s and presidents, to sports, health, science and more—a body of work that has received recognition and numerous awards from prestigious organizations within the industry. Her collaborative style and vast experience in magazine publishing led to management roles as Deputy Director of Photography at Newsweek and Director of Photography at Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine.  She was part of the creative team that redesigned and relaunched Bloomberg Businessweek, which earned SPD’s Gold Medal for Redesign.  Most recently, Susanne has contributed to ESPN the Magazine and Men’s Journal.
